For the Fashion Edit Series, we asked Lara Coassin to share some pieces from her wardrobe that she loves and values.
She is a Fashion Communication student at the University of Brighton, supporter of the Extinction Rebellion movement, and a firm believer in the need for change in the fashion industry.
As we are still in lockdown she took images of the garments in her home with what she had available. She is the first creative to take part in this series and we are very happy to share the beautiful content she has created.
I can't exactly remember when I bought these jeans but they've been worn countless times and are slightly worn out on the knees.
Some of the pockets are a little frayed but it doesn't exactly stop me from wearing them!
The pair is made from cotton and the wide leg makes them comfortable and easy to pair with various tops, they're 'that nice pair of jeans' which go with everything.
The Woollen Knit
My woollen knitted jumper has been with me since before I left Germany and comes out every time when it gets colder again.
The timeless knitted pattern and beige colour are perfect for the winter season and will never go out of style.
The Chequered Coat
I purchased my chequered coat when I moved to Amsterdam a couple of years ago.
It's made of a wool-blend and despite wearing it constantly it has survived all this time.
It's simple yet elegant and goes with most outfits, most seasons. Its classic pattern is timeless making it a great staple in my wardrobe.
